The Gruffalo Song - Julia Donaldson

A könyvben található cd-n van ez a kis dalocska, nagyon szeretjük.

‘The Gruffalo Song’ (Lyrics)
(Written by Julia Donaldson)

He has terrible tusks,
and terrible claws,
and terrible teeth in his terrible jaws
 He’s the Gruffalo, Gruffalo, Gruffalo.
He’s the Gruffalo!

He has nobbly knees
and turn-out toes
and a poisonous wart at the end of this nose
He’s the Gruffalo, Gruffalo, Gruffalo.
He’s the Gruffalo!

 His eyes are orange,
his tongue is black,

he has purple prickles all over his back
He’s the Gruffalo, Gruffalo, Gruffalo (x2)
He’s the Grrrr Grrrr Grrr Gruffalo!
He’s the Gruffalo!

Hey everybody. We’re going on a bear hunt. Are you afraid?
Children: I’m not afraid.

Take pictures with my camera (Children repeat)
Open up the door – squeak (Children repeat)
Walk down the road (Children repeat)
Coming to a wheat field (Children repeat)
Can’t go under it (Children repeat)
Can’t go over it (Children repeat)
Have to walk through it. (Children repeat)

Got through the wheat field (Children repeat)
Coming to a bridge (Children repeat)
Can’t go under it (Children repeat)
Have to walk over it. (Children repeat)

Got over the bridge (Children repeat)
Coming to a tree (Children repeat)
Can’t go under it (Children repeat)
Yes, we have to climb it (Children repeat)
Climb to the top (Children repeat)

Do you see the bear? (Children repeat)
No (Children repeat)
Let’s climb down (Children repeat)

Coming to a river (Children repeat)
Can’t go under it (Children repeat)
Can’t fly over it (Children repeat)
Let’s get in the boat (Children repeat)
Got across the river. (Children repeat)
Coming to a cave (Children repeat)
Can’t go under it (Children repeat)
Can’t go over it. (Children repeat)
Tip-toe inside. (Children repeat)

It’s dark in here. (Children repeat)
Is anyone round? (Children repeat)
I see two eyes. (Children repeat)
And a big fury body. (Children repeat)
Let's take a picture! (Children repeat)
Run! It’s a bear! (Children repeat)

Back to the river.
Row the boat across!
Run to the tree!
Climb up!
Climb down.
Run to the bridge!
Cross it!
Run to the wheat field!
Run down the road!
Open up the door – squeak!
And close it
We made it! (Children repeat)

Hey everybody!
Let’s go on a bear hunt
Are you afraid?

Children: I’m not afraid.

The Bad-Tempered Ladybird (Grouchy Ladybug) - Eric Carle

A mese kidolgozását a szokásos módon kezdtem, elkészítettem a mesében szereplő állatok flashcardjait.

Majd készítettem egy Layer book-ot, amelyet  innen töltöttem le. Mindegyik időponthoz hozzáadtam a vele  kapcsolatos állatot.

Az óra gyakorlására egy katicabogaras órát  töltöttem le és minden időponthoz bemásoltam, hogy melyik állat tartozik hozzá.

Grouchy ladybug
To the tune: Clementine

Grouchy ladybug, grouchy ladybug.
You like aphids to eat.
Why are you so very grouchy?
We wish you were nice and sweet!

Grouchy ladybug, grouchy ladybug,
You tried to fight a whale
But you thought he wasn’t big enough
‘Til he slapped you with his tail!”
Grouchy Ladybug, Grouchy Ladybug,
You have learned to be kind.
I am happy you are kind.
Now you won’t be left behind.

Sheena Roberts - We all go travelling by (Barefoots Books)
I spy with my little eyes,
You can hear with your little ear,
A yellow school bus goes beep beep beep.
And we all go travelling by, bye-bye,
And we all go travelling by.

I spy with my little eyes,
You can hear with your little ear,
A bright red truck goes rumble rumble rumble
A yellow school bus goes beep beep beep.
And we all go travelling by, bye-bye,
And we all go travelling by.
I spy with my little eyes,
You can hear with your little ear,
A long blue traing goes chuff chuff chuff.
A bright red truck goes rumble rumble rumble
A yellow school bus goes beep beep beep.
And we all go travelling by, bye-bye,
And we all go travelling by.
I spy with my little eyes,
You can hear with your little ear,
A shiny pink bike goes ring ring ring.
A long blue train goes chuff chuff chuff.
A bright red truck goes rumble rumble rumble
A yellow school bus goes beep beep beep.
And we all go travelling by, bye-bye,
And we all go travelling by.
I spy with my little eyes,
You can hear with your little ear,
A little green boat goes chug-a-lug-a-lug
A shiny pink bike goes ring ring ring.
A long blue train goes chuff chuff chuff.
A bright red truck goes rumble rumble rumble
A yellow school bus goes beep beep beep.
And we all go travelling by, bye-bye,
And we all go travelling by.
I spy with my little eyes,
You can hear with your little ear,
A big white plane goes neeeee-owww.
A little green boat goes chug-a-lug-a-lug
A shiny pink bike goes ring ring ring.
A long blue train goes chuff chuff chuff.
A bright red truck goes rumble rumble rumble
A yellow school bus goes beep beep beep.
And we all go travelling by, bye-bye,
And we all go travelling by.
I spy with my little eyes,
You can hear with your little ear,
A fast orange car goes vroom vroom vroom.
I spy with my little eyes,
You can hear with your little ear,
Two purple shoes go tap tap tap.
A fast orange car goes vroom vroom vroom.
I spy with my little eyes,
You can hear with your little ear,
A loud silver bell goes ding-a-ling-a-ling.
And we all start another school day, hooray!
And we all start another school day!

Every creature that the teeny weeny tadpole meets seems to be able to jump, except him.
Then he meets the big bad fish who can't jump, but he does eat little tadpoles. What is Tadpole going to do?

Life Cycle of a Frog
By Steffani H. Gilligan
Tadpoles grow through,
Many different stages.
You will learn all about it,
In your science book pages.
It all begins in water,
With some tiny eggs.
Inside all nice and cozy,
You’ll find frogs without any legs.
See, when a frog is little,
He’s not called frog at all.
The name for him is tadpole.
We use this when he’s small.
He looks more like a fish.
His body is round and black.
He has a tail and swims.
When he’s free from his egg sack.
He’s busy and he’s growing.
Now, from tadpole to froglet.
Each day he’s getting bigger.
But he’s not quite done yet.
Hanging down, you see legs.
His tail will soon go away.
He’ll have 4 new legs for hopping.
And be a full-fledged frog one day.
When that fine day comes,
No longer breathing with gills.
He’ll hop out of the water.
Inhaling air as his lungs fill.
He leaves the pond behind.
He is an adult amphibian.
But in the pond, you’ll find new eggs.
And the life cycle will begin again.

Gung Gung Went the Little Green Frog:
Gung gung went the little green frog one day,
Gung, gung went the little green frog.
Gung, gung went the little green frog one day,
and his eyes went eeh, eeh, gung!

Five Green and Speckled Frogs:
Five green and speckled frogs,
Sat on a speckled log
Eating the most delicious bugs, yum yum.
One frog jumped in the pool,
Where the water's nice and cool,
Now there are four green speckled frogs.
Four green and speckled frogs...
(Repeat , working your way down to one.)
One little speckled frog sitting,
Sitting on a speckled log,
Eating the most delicious bugs,
Yum, yum.
He jumped into the pool,
Where it was nice and cool,
Then there were no little speckled frogs.

I Have a Little Frog
I have a little frog
His name is Tiny Tim,
I put him in the bathtub,
To see if he could swim,
He drank up all the water,
And gobbled up the soap!
And when he tried to talk
He had a BUBBLE in his throat!

INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITY
Use of sequencing spots as lily pads – (these could be placed on individual
mats).
Walk ‘in’ and ‘out’ of all the spaces. Stop on command and bounce towards a
‘lily pad’ and perform a ‘big bounce on to the spot’.
Repeat.
Bounce on the spot. Stop. Repeat.
Walk to new spaces, stop and bounce on the spot. Repeat.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT
Travel close to the floor, along the floor – ‘Can you wiggle like the tadpole?’
‘What other body parts can you wiggle on?’
Jump for Distance – (two feet to two feet) Find a line in the hall, put your feet
to the line and swing your arms to help you jump forwards. Find a new line
and try again.
Collect a small hoop each. Show all the different ways you can jump out,
round and across your hoop.
Take care when jumping ‘across’ the hoop – hoops can be taped down using
masking tape.
